PCI DSS

Drivers pay through a hosted, tokenized checkout. Card numbers never land on Spot servers, which is how we keep parking checkout PCI DSS compliant without running a card vault.

We never hold the card

Card numbers are captured in the processor’s certified fields and replaced with a token. Spot sees the last four digits, the brand, and the reconciled amount. That is the whole point: parking checkout without a card-data problem on your infrastructure or ours.

A Level 1 processor behind it

Our processor is a PCI Service Provider Level 1, the strictest certification in payments, audited every year by an independent Qualified Security Assessor.

In 2025, businesses on their platform generated about $1.9 trillion in payment volume, roughly 1.6% of global GDP. They power more than five million businesses, including 90% of the Dow Jones Industrial Average and 80% of the Nasdaq 100, and publish a 99.999% historical uptime record.

Checkout that still looks like you

White-label hourly, daily, event, and permit flows stay on-brand. The sensitive capture step stays inside the processor’s environment. You get the revenue. You do not inherit a card vault.

Cards are their job. The rest is ours.

Spot still encrypts operational data, gates operator access with roles, and monitors systems around the clock. PCI covers cards. Plates, permits, citations, and analytics sit under Spot’s SOC 2 program. See payment processing.
