prkg.link keeps the grid small.
Artwork encodes uppercase HTTPS://PRKG.LINK/K7M2. That string fits QR alphanumeric mode, so the grid has fewer modules than a checkout URL with query parameters. Fewer modules scan farther and look cleaner on a plaque.

Switching vendors usually means a print truck. Spot can answer already-printed codes when the payload is a URL we can intercept. This is not “any QR on any sign.”

Closed app schemes and binary ticket blobs never hit a URL Spot can answer. Those signs need a new sticker or a cover.

Do we reprint when rates change?
No. The printed code is a short prkg.link. Price lives on the product and rate plan. Guests see the current rate when they scan.
What can a Spot QR open?
A lot storefront, a single product checkout, the full catalog, a validation already applied, a citation payment page, or an on-link announcement. Destination is chosen in Admin and can be changed without reprinting.
Why prkg.link instead of a long checkout URL?
The short host encodes in QR alphanumeric mode, so the grid has fewer modules. That scans more reliably at a distance and looks cleaner on a sign.
Can we keep QR codes from another vendor?
Sometimes. If the printed code encodes a web URL that can be pointed at Spot — DNS or a redirect from the current host — we map those scans onto the same destinations. Closed app payloads still need a new sticker. This is done with Spot during switchover, not as a self-serve setting.
Where do operators manage these codes?
Admin Portal → Settings → QR codes is the inventory. Lot entrance codes are also minted from Products → Storefronts. Guests never open Admin; they scan.
